XC Goes the Distance
SNOW FARM, New Zealand (July 29) – The U.S. Cross Country Ski Team is taking full advantage of the southern hemisphere's winter months, spending three weeks at Snow Farm on New Zealand's south island. This is the ninth consecutive year the Team has had a summer training session down under.

XC Trains at Mt. Bachelor
BEND, OR (May 28) - With the 2011 World Championship season on the horizon, the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team athletes are spending their Memorial Day weekend at Mt. Bachelor in Oregon training for the upcoming year.

Fish Joins U.S. Team Coaching Staff

PARK CITY, UT (May 13) - The coaching staff of the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team has a new addition as Bryan Fish joins the ranks to take the role of Continental Cup coach, Nordic Program Director John Farra announced Thursday.

Grover Named XC Head Coach

PARK CITY, UT (April 13) - After coaching the sprint team for four years, Chris Grover will take over as the head coach of U.S. Cross Country Ski Team as the team begins its run to the Olympics in Sochi in 2014.

Dussault Tops Final Super Tour

FORT KENT, ME (March 28) – The U.S. Super Tour closed on Sunday with the men’s and women’s hill climb at Fort Kent. Canada’s Ivan Babikov and Rebecca Dussault (Gunnison, CO) ended the 2010 winter season on top of the podium.

Koos, Randall Sprint to Super Tour Win

FORT KENT, ME (March 27) – With only one day remaining in the U.S. Super Tour Finals, U.S. Olympians Torin Koos (Leavenworth, WA) and Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) led the field in the men’s and women’s sprint.

Newell, Randall Take Super Tour Win

FORT KENT, ME (March 26) – The U.S. Super Tour Finals commenced Friday, opening the series with the men’s 10K and women’s 7K race. The star studded field was comprised of U.S. Ski Team members and 2010 Olympians racing to the finish line. Andy Newell (Shaftsbury, VT) and Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) won the races.

Randall, Elliott Crowned U.S. Champs

FORT KENT, ME (March 24) – The 2010 U.S. Cross Country Championships ended on Wednesday in Fort Kent with the men’s 50K and women’s 30K race. Tad Elliott (Durango, CO) and 2010 Olympian Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) were crowned U.S. champs.

Randall 17th in Final World Cup

FALUN, Sweden (March 21) - Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) wrapped up her 2010 season with yet another top 20 finish, skiing her way to 17th in the final weekend of the FIS Cross Country World Cup, which featured a multi-stage mini-tour at the traditional Swedish Ski Games in Falun.

Randall 15th in Falun Pursuit

FALUN, Sweden (March 20) - Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) took it a step up Saturday in the final weekend of the FIS Cross Country World Cup, which features a multi-stage mini-tour at the traditional Swedish Ski Games, finishing 14th during the 10K pursuit in Falun.

Randall Leads U.S. in Falun

FALUN, Sweden (March 19) - The final weekend of the FIS Cross Country World Cup will feature a multi-stage mini-tour at the traditional Swedish Ski Games in Falun. In Friday's opening prologue, Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) kicked it off finishing 36th to lead the U.S..

Randall 15th in Stockholm

STOCKHOLM, Sweden (March 17) - Less than a week after landing on the World Cup podium, Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) again led her team, finishing 15th during a sprint in Sweden on Wednesday.

Randall Second at Holmenkollen

OSLO, Norway (March 14) - Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) showed the world her skills Sunday, taking second in freestyle sprint at Holmenkollen to mark the third podium of her career.

Norway's Women Sweep XC

OSLO, Norway (March 13) - With only two more stops on the World Cup before season's end, Morgan Arritola (Ketchum, ID)  took the lead for the U.S., finishing 31st during the women's 30K mass start in Norway on Saturday. It was a joyous day for Norway, with Petter Northug taking the men's 50K and Marit Bjoergen leading a Norway podium sweep at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival, the Super Bowl of the sport of cross country ski racing.

Newell on Classic Sprint Podium
DRAMMEN, Norway (March 11) - Andy Newell (Shaftsbury, VT) sprinted to his first World Cup podium in two years, finishing third in a classic sprint Thursday in front of thousands on the streets of Drammen, Norway.

TD Bank XC JOs Commence
PRESQUE ISLE, ME (Mar. 8) – The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association 's (USSA) TD Bank Cross Country Junior Olympics opened on Monday, March 8 at Presque Isle, beginning with the men's and women's sprint.  The best junior cross country athletes from USSA clubs across the country will ski hard in hopes of winning Junior Olympic gold.

Randall Leads U.S. in Finland

LAHTI, Finland (March 6) - World Championship silver medalist Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) got back into the World Cup season Saturday, leading the U.S. in 24th during the women's 15K and men's 30K pursuits in Finland.

Northug Wraps Up With 50K Gold
WHISTLER OLYMPIC PARK, BC (Feb. 28) – Norway's Petter Northug won his second gold medal in Sunday's men's 50K mass start classic. James Southam (Anchorage) finished 28th to lead the U.S. in the final ski event at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Randall Personal Best at 30K
WHISTLER OLYMPIC PARK, BC (Feb. 27) – Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) had her best-ever distance finish in the women's 30K mass start classic on Saturday. Known primarily as a sprinter, Randall finished 24th, while Holly Brooks (Anchorage) also had a strong showing for the U.S. in 36th.

Dussault Skates to Super Tour Win
HAYWARD, WI (Feb. 27) - Rebecca Dussault (Gunnison, CO) skated to victory on Saturday in the U.S. Super Tour 50K F in Hayward. The men's competition was won by Italy's Fabio Santus.
