Testing Helps Alpine Progress in Training
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 30) - The Disabled Alpine Team wrapped up the first training camp of the season with a testing camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
Disabled Alpine Trains at A Basin
ARAPAHOE BASIN, CO (May 12) - The U.S. Disabled Alpine Ski Team kicked off the 2008-09 season with a fundamentals and free-skiing camp at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area May 4, with Stephani Victor (sit-ski; Deer Valley, UT) and Laurie Stephens (sit-ski; Wenham, MA) making a return after injuries last season.
Disabled Cross Country Trains in Whistler
WHISTLER, B.C. (May 7) - The U.S. Disabled Cross Country Team is training on the 2010 Paralympic cross country venue at the Whistler Olympic Park in the Callaghan Valley this week. It is the Team's first time on the trails where they hope to win Paralympic medals two years from now.
First Mother's Day For Bascio
PARK CITY, Utah (May 7) - For most athletes, spring is a time to focus on training for the upcoming season. But for two U.S. Ski Team athletes, this spring has brought something special. Sunday, three-time Olympian Sarah Schleper (Vail, CO) and the U.S. Disabled Cross Country Team's Monica Bascio (sit-ski; Evergreen, CO) will celebrate their first Mother's Day as mothers.

PARK CITY, Utah (April 25) - The U.S. Disabled Ski Team had another solid year of top athlete performance in the 2008 season thanks to athletes like Paralympic champions Chris Devlin-Young (sit-ski; Campton, NH) and Allison Jones (standing; Colorado Springs, CO) and U.S. champion Brad Washburn (standing; Littleton, CO).
SkiTAM a Success for Disabled Team
VAIL, Colorado (April 8) - The U.S. Disabled Ski Team, along with 1,300 fans and nearly 50 sponsors, descended on Vail April 3-6 for the 13th annual SkiTAM fundraising event. Organized by the Cable and Telecommunications Association of Marketing (CTAM) of the Rocky Mountains, the event brought some of the biggest names in the cable and telecommunications industry together with athletes to raise money for the disabled Team.
Disabled XC Coach Recaps Season
FRISCO, Colo. (March 12) - The U.S .Disabled Ski Team didn't hit all of its goals in the 2007-08 season. But Head Cross Country Coach Jon Kreamelmeyer was optimistic about some key bright spots as the books were closed on the season earlier this month with the final World Cup in Norway. Chris Klebl (Heber City, UT) led the team, finishing fourth in the season long World Cup.
Jones Wins Slalom at Hartford
SOLDIER MOUNTAIN, Idaho (March 8) - The U.S. Disabled Ski Team's Allison Jones (Standing; Colorado Springs, CO) had another excellent day of racing when she won the women's slalom during the 2008 Hartford U.S. Disabled Ski Championships.
Streaks Continue in The Hartford GS
SOLDIER MOUNTAIN, Idaho (March 7) - Winning streaks continued at the 2008 The Hartford U.S. Disabled Alpine Championships in Soldier Mountain. George Sansonetis, Allison Jones and Ricci Kilgore each won their third straight U.S. title, while Tyler Walker won his first of the week in the giant slalom.

SOLDIER MOUNTAIN, Idaho (March 5) -U.S. Disabled Alpine Team athletes George Sansonetis (standing; Fraser, CO), Allison Jones (standing; Colorado Springs, CO) and U.S. development athlete Ricci Kilgore (sit-ski; Reno, NV) all nabbed wins Wednesday during a 2008 Hartford U.S. Disabled Alpine Championships super G at Soldier Mountain outside Ketchum.
Sansonetis, Jones Win Downhill
SOLDIER MOUNTAIN, Idaho (March 4) - The U.S. Disabled Ski Team's George Sansonetis (Fraser, CO) and Allison Jones (Colorado Springs, CO) each clinched standing division wins in a downhill Tuesday during the 2008 Hartford U.S. Disabled Alpine Championships in Idaho. Development skier Ricci Kilgore (Reno, NV) and Kevin Bramble (Cape May Court House, NJ) took sit-ski crowns in the opening day of The Hartford Championships.
Hartford U.S. Champs at Soldier Mountain
SOLDIER MOUNTAIN, Idaho (March 4) - The 2008 Hartford U.S. Disabled Alpine Championships will descend upon Soldier Mountain, ID Tuesday, March 4. National team skiers will be gunning for U.S. titles while development athletes from across the country will take their shot at proving themselves to the U.S. Disabled Alpine Team.
Balk Leads U.S. in XC Finale
NES, Norway (March 1) - Bob Balk (Long Beach, CA) led the U.S. Disabled Ski Team in the final World Cup cross country race of the season in Norway. Balk was sixth in the 700-meter sprint. Teammate Chris Klebl (Heber City, UT) was seventh.

NES, Norway (Feb. 28) - Sit-skier Chris Klebl (Heber City,UT) led the U.S. Disabled Ski Team in seventh in a 5K Disabled World Cup in Nes, Norway.
Devlin-Young Takes SG Globe
HAKUBA, Japan (Feb. 26) - Chris Devlin-Young (sit-ski; Campton, NH) led the U.S. Disabled Alpine Team in Japan, taking a World Cup super G title for the season and finishing fourth place in the overall World Cup standings.
Devlin-Young Leads Team in Korea
KENEWON, Korea (Feb. 16) - After two days of competition, Chris Devlin-Young (sit-ski; Campton, NH) led the U.S. Disabled Ski Team in a pair of races in Korea, including a podium in GS on Saturday and fourth place in a super combined Friday in Kenewon, Korea at the High 1 Ski Resort.

YONG PYONG, South Korea (Feb. 14) - The U.S. Disabled Alpine Team is in Asia for seven World Cup races in South Korea and Japan.
Devlin-Young Third In Mono Skier Cross
ASPEN, Colo. (Jan. 27) - Americans Tyler Walker (sit-ski; Franconia, NH) and Chris Devlin-Young (sit-ski; Campton, NH) collected the silver and bronze medals Sunday in a remarkable mono-ski cross race at the Winter X Games.

ASPEN, Colo. (Jan. 24) - With only one year of competition history at the X Games, mono-skier X is back for 2008 with a stacked list of the top disabled athletes, including the U.S. Disabled Ski Team, looking to take home gold.
XC World Cup Wraps Up In Germany
OBERSTORF, Germany (Jan. 22) - The U.S. Disabled Cross Country Ski Team's Chris Klebl (sit-ski; Heber City, UT) is on his way to matching his 2007 World Cup podium spots after picking up a win and a second place during the first portion of the Team's World Cup season.
