Vail
The Most Fun You've Had With Your Boots On.
Not only is SkiTAM a fundraising event, it’s also a fun-raising event. All four days are packed full of activities and festivities. Much of the excitement, for example, revolves around the race that takes place on Saturday, April 11th. Four-member teams will compete for awards in two different divisions - competitive and sport. And each team will be joined by a pro from the U.S. Disabled Ski Team itself. Yee-ha.
Of course, there will also be ample opportunity for family fun as well. There’s a Kid’s Race on Friday, a chaperoned SkiTAM Kid’s Party, and a whole host of other fabulous things that you can do right in and around Vail. On or off the slopes, there is plenty going on in Vail. Consider these Vail Valley activities during your SkiTAM open time or as part of an extended vacation:
- Sky-high hot air balloon rides
- Scenic gondola and chair lift rides
- Nordic skiing
- Snow shoeing
- Spas/athletic clubs
- 100+ restaurants
- Apres ski/late night entertainment
- Shopping galore
